Icdas cuts domestic longs prices as scrap falls
Turkish scrap-based long steelmaker Icdas has reduced its domestic rebar and wire rod prices, reflecting the drop in scrap import prices and appreciating lira, Kallanish notes.
The company's 12-32mm, 10mm, and 8mm diameter rebar is offered at TRY 1,880/tonne ($523/t), TRY 1,890/t and TRY 1,900/t respectively from 27 March, each down by TRY 60/t from the previous, 20 March price list. The move follows a decrease by TRY 70/t a week earlier.
