Icdas continues raising rebar prices as scrap upticks
Turkish long steelmaker Icdas has hiked further its rebar and wire rod prices for the domestic market as imported scrap prices remain on the rise, Kallanish notes.
The company's 12-32mm, 10mm, and 8mm diameter rebar prices have increased by TRY 50/tonne each to TRY 1,540/t ($496/t), TRY 1,550/t and TRY 1,560/t, respectively from 31 October. Last week Icdas announced two price hikes by TRY 30/t each.
