Icdas raises domestic rebar prices again
Turkish long steelmaker Icdas has lifted its domestic rebar prices by a further TRY 40/tonne, following the continued rise in scrap import prices and weakening of the lira against the US dollar, Kallanish notes.
The scrap-based steelmaker's 12-32mm, 10mm, and 8mm diameter rebar prices are offered at TRY 1,730/tonne ($526/t), TRY 1,740/t and TRY 1,750/t, respectively, with effect from 14 November. The move follows three price hikes of TRY 30/t each …
