Icdas raises domestic longs prices again
Turkish scrap-based long steelmaker Icdas has made a second upwards revision in its domestic rebar and wire rod prices this week as scrap import prices keep rising, Kallanish notes.
Icdas' 12-32mm, 10mm, and 8mm diameter rebar prices have increased to TRY 2,010/tonne ($558/t), TRY 2,020/t and TRY 2,030/t, up by TRY 30/t respectively from 5 July, after rising by TRY 30/t on 3 July.
