Iberian third-country steel imports rise in 2018
Spain and Portugal saw steel imports from third countries increase year-on-year in 2018, according to data from the Spanish steelmakers' association, Unesid.
The growth was mainly as a result of trade diversion due to US 232 tariffs, according to Unesid president Andrés Barceló, speaking during the recent Iberia Steel Net Forum, attended by Kallanish.
