Hyundai maintains Japanese scrap prices
South Korea's Hyundai Steel has maintained its bid prices for Japanese scrap in its weekly purchase auction, Kallanish notes.
Hyundai Steel announced last Friday that it will maintain its bid prices for Japanese scrap. For the fourth consecutive week, the leading EAF operator in the country bid H2 and H1/H2 50:50 scrap at JPY 33,000/tonne ($293/t) and JPY 33,500/t respectively.
