Hoa Phat prepares land for new strip mill
Vietnam's Hoa Phat Group is on track to boost domestic production of hot rolled coil, Kallanish understands.
Hoa Phat’s second-phase expansion at its Dung Quat Iron & Steel Complex will involve the installation of a 5 million tonnes/year hot strip mill, expected to be commissioned in 2024. The company is in the process of clearing the land for the new site and providing land compensation, company sources say.
