Hoa Phat's nine-month crude steel output breaks 6mt
Vietnam's leading steelmaker, Hoa Phat, saw steel output and sales continue to rise in September, taking nine-month production up 50% on-year.
Hoa Phat produced 686,000 tonnes of crude steel and reported steel sales of 738,000t in September, up by 20% and 22% respectively on-year. Sales included 327,000t of construction steel and 176,000t of hot rolled coil, as well as other sales of billet, galvanized steel and steel pipes, Kallanish notes.
