Hoa Phat sales exceed 1mt in March
Vietnam's leading steelmaker, Hoa Phat Group, saw steel sales top 1 million tonnes in March. Construction steel sales hit a new high, with a 36% year-on-year increase to around 480,000 tonnes.
Hot rolled coil sales meanwhile reached 238,000t, up 36% over February. The firm was yet to start HRC production a year ago, Kallanish notes.
