Highway infrastructure spending to rise 22% in 2022
The US Department of Transportation’s Federal Highway Administration (FHWA) will increase spending for highway infrastructure by 22% next year, Kallanish understands.
In a notice, the FWHA unveiled its annual budget for next year. Under the newly passed Infrastructure Investment and Jobs Act, annual federal highway spending will increase by 22% to $52.5 billion in 2022.
