High steel prices hamper Mexican automotive sector recovery
Rising steel prices are putting pressure on the Mexican automotive sector. Domestic steelmakers are struggling to reach pre-Covid-19 production levels, while supply shortages are additionally impacting the market, according to the Asociación Mexicana de la Indústria Automotriz (Amia).
