Higher demand, pricing boosts TimkenSteel's earnings
Strengthened demand along with higher base prices has driven up Canton, Ohio-based US speciality steel producer TimkenSteel's earnings in the first quarter, Kallanish gathers.
TimkenSteel earned $39.2 million on sales of $352m in the first quarter, up from last year's Q1 earnings totaling $9.8m on sales of $273.6m.
