Higher demand increases BMZ output, exports
Byelorussian Steel Works (BMZ) increased steel production and exports in January-September, the company confirms to Kallanish.
Steel output amounted to 1.92 million tonnes, up by 2.2% on-year.
BMZ says it increased export deliveries in the nine months by 51.9% on-year, but declined to provide volumes. In monetary terms, BMZ exported $1.085 billion worth of products in January-September, which is $370.9 million up from the same period last year.
