Henan plans two more integrated steelmakers by 2020
On 26 December 2018 the Henan provincial government issued a three-year-plan for the adjustment and upgrading of the steel industry in the province. According to the document, Henan Province expects to control iron capacity to within 30 million tonnes/year by 2020, and to see the formation of two large integrated steel companies, Kallanish notes.
