Heilongjiang Jianlong boosts seamless steel pipe output
On 18 June Heilongjiang Jianlong Iron & Steel commissioned a production line for seamless steel pipe, Kallanish notes.
According to the company, the production line started construction on 8 July 2018. It has a comprehensive capacity of 130,000 tonnes/year, including 10,000 t/y of thickened pipe and 120,000 t/y of heat-treated steel pipe. The project had a successful trial on 28 May. On 18 June, it started commercial production.
