Hegang plans steel output cuts in 2017

Hebei Iron & Steel (Hegang) expects environmental issues and capacity closures to further influence this year’s steel production, according to the listed company's 2016 annual report. In 2017 Hegang plans to produce 28.03 million tonnes of iron and 27.87mt of crude steel, down -4.2% and -3.8% respectively from 2016.
