Hebei Tianzhu touts efficiency at Beijing meeting
Hebei Tianzhu, a small privately-owned steelmaker in northern China, has remained profitable in part because of its cost efficiency, chairwoman Meng Lanzhi told a meeting of Hebei province’s delegation to the annual political gatherings in Beijing.
The comments reportedly struck a nerve with Wang Yifang, the former chairman of Hebei Iron and Steel (Hegang), who was sitting next to her at the time, Kallanish notes.
