Environmental inspection group warns Hebei steelmakers
There are more than 20 small- and medium-sized steel plants in Hebei which have been publically disgraced by the provincial air pollution control work group. An announcement signals the mills have been warned for lacking standard environmental protection equipment or for not properly registering with environmental authorities following a special enforcement inspection on 14 September, Kallanish notes.
