Hebei steel exports collapse over January-October
Exports from China’s steel engine room, Hebei province, have plummeted year-on-year over the first ten months of 2017, according to the Hebei Metallurgical Industrial Association.
In the first ten months Hebei exported 14.83 million tonnes of steel products worth $ 8.103 billion but volume and value respectively slumped by -51.1% and -26% year-on-year. The export volume and value account for around 23.1% and 18% respectively of national totals.
