Hebei restricts steel production again
China’s Hebei province implemented level I & II heavy pollution plans across ten cities effective from late on 29 December, according to the provincial Environmental Protection Administration (EPA). Eight cities must reduce emissions levels from steel production by -30%, while Tangshan and Cangzhou must cut steelmaking emissions by -40%, Kallanish notes.
