Hebei to limit coking capacity up to 2020
Hebei province plans to control its coking capacity to below 60 million tonnes/year by the end of 2020, local authorities say. Hebei aims to cut 49.89m t/y of iron and 49.13m t/y steel capacity over 2016-2020, of which it cut 16.24m t/y of steel capacity in 2016 and plans to cut 19.86m t/y this year.
