China creates new Hebei special economic zone
On 1 April China’s Communist Party Central Committee and the State Council issued a notice that it was establishing Hebei Xiongan Special Economic Zone (SEZ). The new entity will enjoy the same ranking as zones in Shenzhen and Shanghai.
