Heavy rains impact Mineração Usiminas' first-quarter performance
Mineração Usiminas (Musa), the mining arm of Brazilian steelmaker Usinas Siderúrgicas de Minas Gerais (Usiminas), saw its performance cut in the first quarter. Production and sales fell both over Q4 2021 and year-on-year, mainly due to higher levels of rainfall in the period in Brazil.
