Hadeed slump slows Mid-East production growth in November

Crude steel production in the four Middle Eastern countries covered by worldsteel’s monthly report increased 6.2% on-year in November to 2.7 million tonnes, Kallanish notes. This took January-November production up 11.9% on-year to 29.68mt. The increase happened despite a -45.8% on-year slump in crude steel output at Saudi Arabia’s largest producer, Hadeed, to only 269,000 tonnes in November.
