Hadeed exports billet, penetrates North Africa CRC market
Saudi Iron & Steel Company (Hadeed) saw sales fall -17% on-year in 2017 to 4.4 million tonnes. The firm exported billet last year for the first time in its history, while also penetrating the North African market with cold rolled coil, according to parent Sabic. It plans to explore new export markets and build new distribution channels in 2018.
