Guangqing constructs stainless steel plant in Yangjiang
Guangdong Guangqing Metal Technology Company has started construction of its stainless steel works with 4 million tonnes/year of capacity in Yangjiang City, Kallanish notes.
In 2019, Tsingshan Group and state-owned Guangxin Group announced their cooperation on the plant (see Kallanish passim). The project was designed to be a downstream addition to Tsingshan’s 3m t/y ferronickel plant in Indonesia.
