Great Lakes steel, ore shipments rise
While coastal ports have experienced congestion and shipping delays this year, traffic has been increasing on the Great Lakes-St Lawrence Seaway system. The system reaches eight US states and two Canadian provinces and comprises more than 100 public and private ports.
