Strong demand lifts BMZ export revenue, production stable

Byelorussian Steel Works (BMZ) increased revenue in 2021, but production was flat compared to 2020, the company tells Kallanish. Crude steel output amounted to 2.4 million tonnes. The enterprise operated at the same utilisation rate as in 2020, despite the fact that blast furnace No.3 was stopped for upgrade from the fourth quarter, it claims.
