GM to buy Nucor's new net-zero steel
In a move towards sustainable green steel, US steel producer Nucor is launching a line of net-zero carbon steel products with a major automaker already lined up to buy, Kallanish reports.
General Motors will begin receiving net-zero steel from Nucor in the first quarter of 2022 and anticipates that, by year-end, all of its steel purchases from Nucor will be net carbon neutral.
