GM plans to work with Trump on tax
US automaker GM says it plans to work with the administration of President Donald Trump to broadly implement pro-domestic manufacturing tax reform, though its exposure to several proposed measures – such as a border tax – is lower than its competitors.
On an earnings conference call with analysts, GM chief financial officer Chuck Stevens said a threatened import tax with Mexico to pay for a border wall would indeed impact some of its Mexican holdings…
