Global crude steel output recovers in May
Global crude steel production recovered 5.7% month-on-month and 1.5% year-on-year to 165.107 million tonnes in May, according to the latest worldsteel data. The m-o-m recovery was supported largely by China, as well as the Middle East, North America, Turkey, Russia and Ukraine, Kallanish notes.
