Give Nafta negotiators time, USW says
A new North American Free Trade Agreement deal that protects manufacturers and their employees is worth waiting for, according to the United Steelworkers labour union.
The latest round of negotiations between the US, Canada, and Mexico has temporarily stalled on the topic of auto content and jobs, but a new round is slated to begin next week. A deadline for a finalised deal was originally set by Congress for next week, Kallanish notes.
