Germany’s scrap exports decrease amid higher imports
Germany’s ferrous scrap exports decreased in March, according to data from the German federal statistics office.
Exports totalled 547,000 tonnes, down 25% year-on-year, Kallanish notes. At the same time, scrap imports rose by almost 28% to 405,000t.
