Germany launches ‘masterplan’ to promote rail freight
The German government has advanced its “Railway Masterplan” to encourage the choice of train as means of transport, both for people and freight. The scheme was developed in cooperation with national transport associations and industry groups, among them steel federation Wirtschaftvereinigung (WV) Stahl.
