German crude steel production stabilises in August
Crude steel production in Germany was 3.266 million tonnes in August, just 0.8% more than in August 2018, steel association Wirtschaftsvereinigung Stahl (WV Stahl) tells Kallanish. It is the first time this year that the monthly year-on-year comparison did not show a fall.
