German states pledge political support for steel
In a joint statement at a meeting held last week, the prime ministers of Germany’s states highlighted the importance of steel production in Germany. They are pleading for better protection from unfair imports as well as a for CO₂ duties on imported steel, amongst other things, Kallanish notes.
