German scrappers worry about imminent road tolls
Germany’s federations for metals recycling BDSV (steel), VDM (non-ferrous) and BVSE (mixed) have asked the German government for clarification on highway tolls that are to be introduced on 1 July this year.
What these will cost has not yet been revealed, and if this does not happen in time, the tolls will have to be postponed to 1 January 2019, the federations argue in a statement sent to Kallanish. The new tolls, which will apply to a range of German road…
