German scrappers show greater optimism for 2017
Looking forward into 2017, Germany’s steel recycling operations are much more optimistic than they were at the end of 2015, Kallanish learns from the recyclers’ federation BDSV.
In the poll carried out by BDSV among members, 82% said they expect the business climate in 2017 to be on par (45%) or better (37%) than this year. At the end of 2015, only 28% anticipated stabilisation or improvement, while 72% expected business to become harder.
