German scrap prices recover, look solid going forward
It was expected that the German scrap price in March would recover by the same degree it fell in February. This was around €15/tonne ($18.52/t), Kallanish heard earlier this month from the management of the German recyclers’ federation BDSV. In fact, the recovery turned out to be slightly stronger, with increases between €16-19//t, according to BDSV’s latest statistics.
