German scrap prices see significant rise in November
Prices for ferrous scrap in Germany have risen by €30/tonne ($32/t) or more from October to November, according to the latest poll by recyclers’ federation BDSV, normally concluded by mid-month.
The increase since then could have extended slightly, but then a halt in the recent increase in Turkish scrap purchasing prices was reported last week, which usually results in the calming of markets elsewhere.
