German recyclers ask government for crisis 'relevant role'
Germany’s recycling industry is demanding that it obtains the status of ‘relevant to the system’ in the current period of crisis. It is therefore asking the government to handle limitations to recycling operations in a flexible way. Four interest groups including steel scrap recycling associations BDSV and BVSE have worded an open letter to the German ministry of environment on this matter, Kallanish notes.
