German BOF steel production rises, falls at EAFs
Germany’s mills produced 3.565 million tonnes of crude steel in October, which is virtually on par with October 2017, according to steel federation WV Stahl. Given that last year’s period had one working day more, production was some -3% lower on a comparable basis.
