German mill output slightly up y/y
Crude steel production at German mills in February reached 3.5 million tonnes, an increase of 2.6% over February 2016, Kallanish learns from steel federation WV Stahl.
The year-on-year increase of the first two months of 2017 was 1.8% to 7.1m tonnes. ,The federation states that volumes have stabilized in Germany so far this year, not withstanding the prevailing insecurities in international competition.
