German machinery exports further decline in Q1

Mechanical and plant engineering companies in Germany recorded a further decline in exports in the first quarter of 2024, says their federation, VDMA. The nominal decline amounted to 4.6% compared with the previous year, according to latest figures by the Federal Statistics Office.
