German government and steel mills plan national strategy
Following three rounds of talks, representatives of the German steel industry have worked out a steel action plan together with economy minister Peter Altmaier. The central goals of the concept are to create competitive framework conditions for steel in Germany and to pave the way for low-CO₂ steel production.
