German finished steel output tumbles in December
German crude steel production fell again in January 2016, steelmakers’ association WV Stahl tells Kallanish. December figures for finished steel production also confirmed the weakening state of the steel market in the country.
January’s crude steel output in Germany dipped by -2% versus that in the same period of 2015 to 3.6 million tonnes, the third consecutive monthly year-on-year fall, WV Stahl says.
