German fabricators lift growth forecast for full year
Germany’s steel- and metals-using industries will lift production in the current year by 4% from that in 2016. The value has been upped from an earlier forecast of 1%, Kallanish learns from the steel and metals fabricators’ industry federation, WSM.
Production had risen by 4.3% over the first half of 2016 to end-June. There was no apparent slowdown in July as would be usual for a summer holiday month, and production surged by 7.1% year-on-year. Reven…
