German first-quarter crude steel production continues to fall

First-quarter German crude production totalled 10.44 million tonnes, which was -3.6% less than in Q1 2018. Output of finished rolled products in the same period was down -5.1% to 8.90mt, Kallanish hears from steel federation WV Stahl. In March, crude steel production fell -1.4% on-year to 3.67mt.
