General Motors invests $91m in Marion plant
US automaker General Motors plans to put $91 million into its Marion, Indiana, stamping plant, Kallanish learns from local media reports.
The bulk of the money – around $82.5m – will go toward new dies. The rest will be spent on die modifications and crane improvements. All new equipment is slated to be installed by the end of 2017.
