GCC’s September crude steel production shrinks, Iran grows
Saudi Arabia, United Arab Emirates and Qatar's combined crude steel output inched down 8.1% on-month and 6.6% on-year in September to 1.06 million tonnes, according to the latest worldsteel data. However, Iran saw a significant crude steel output growth of 32.9% on-month and 26.7% on-year to 2.74mt in September, Kallanish notes.
